Description

The Leatherman Surge is one of our biggest and strongest multi-tools, engineered with large pliers, long blades, and a rugged frame built to handle demanding work. Whether you’re on a professional job site or tackling a serious weekend project, the Surge delivers the strength and versatility to get it done. Four outside-opening tools provide fast access without unfolding the entire tool, saving time when every second counts. Each one locks securely into place for safety and control—so you can cut, twist, grip, or turn with confidence. Its unique blade exchanger adds even more capability, allowing you to swap between a saw and a file depending on the task. That adaptability makes it easy to move from rough cuts to fine shaping without reaching for another tool. Designed for heavy-duty performance, the Surge offers the leverage, reach, and durability needed for tougher materials and bigger jobs. Trusted by electricians, mechanics, construction professionals, and dedicated DIYers alike, it’s built to perform year after year. From fixing and building to staying prepared for the unexpected, the Surge helps you accomplish more with a single, compact powerhouse that’s ready for whatever the day demands. Sheath sold separately.

Sturdy Multi-tool

"Nice chunky piece of kit from Leatherman. My Stainless Steel version came scratched straight out of its sealed box so loses 2 stars for shoddy quality control. Come on Leatherman, you're a big boy now so CHECK your products before packing them."

— Alijoon (3/5)

Excellent product. A lot heavier

"Excellent product. A lot heavier than I have had previously but much more robust. Suitable for professional every day use rather than just now and again"

I have had previous multitool

"I have had previous multitool knives but none have stood up to the use of camping and every day tinkering, however this knife is great multi use for everything i could ever need and easy to maintain without any damage. fits nicely on a belt or in a pocket without weighing you down. classic easy to use design that functions in all weathers."

— Graham B. (5/5)

Bad finish on surge pliers

"More time should be spent on quality control. . . I was very disappointed to see the pliers not polished like the rest of the tool. . So I had to buy another one from Heinnie Haynes that was perfect. So I'm out of pocket."

— Sam L. (4/5)

Love it! Used it almost

"Love it! Used it almost everyday since it arrived"
