"I haven’t owned a weatherman in decades. Stepping back into shooting after leaving the forces I was recommended this tool as an aide to sight and weapon adjustment. I cannot fault it. I bought the accessories too, a ratchet head and alternate driver head attachments. It does everything I need it and flawlessly. Not fiddly, but smaller than a normal tool kit. Plus, it all fits in the standard Mille pouch it comes supplied with. I highly recommend it."

"The MUT was a gift from my wife. I have never had a tool so poorly designed and put together as this one. If I wanted a tool that upon touching made my hands black I would throw it in the mud first. The hinges are not adjustable without a special tool and are so stiff that I can barely use it. The design of the extra long screwdriver bits and 7/16 are so hard to pull from the tool they are virtually useless. My wife has a different Leatherman and the craftmanship is really excellent and also ease of use. The MUT is just poor period."
"I’m an avid leatherman collector. I generally carry the arc since I got spoiled by all the accessible tools without opening it. Thought I wasted my money on the MUT. That was until the sonic cleaner didn’t remove all of the carbon on my monocore rim fire suppressors. This is where the MUT comes in. The knife shaped brass scraper is a god send when it comes to this. It gets in there and scrapes all the hardened carbon off really easily. I looked for a standalone brass scraper to keep in my kit and could not find anything like the brass scraper on the mut."
"Why the cute clip/bottle opener? The rivet placed in the slot relief, under the belt clip, for the bit took nearly all of the material from the already teensy pummel to main body location on the frame. I can open a bottle with probably 10 other locations just on the outside of the tool. Also, poor utilization of space uner the roll pin. You could have easily designed it so the bit came out the opposite way like suicide door. Probably couldve even thrown a file in there. It definitely works for guns. It just seems limited for the price. Brass prices must be through the roof :)"
"This is hands down the best multi tool I’ve ever used and have never had a problem EXCEPT with the garbage MOLLE sheath they include. I’ve lost 2 already because within a short time the Velcro and snap wear out and it becomes useless, easily falling off your belt. Come on Leartherman, you can do better."
