"Since the days of the PST, Ive destroyed plier heads cutting hard wire and even screws and nails. I jumped on the wave plus when it came out for the replaceable wire cutters and I love that most every tool since has had them too. I like to grind a bit off the "front" towards the tip of the pliers to leave more space for bolts in the jaws, but that's not really needed."

"Was abusing the original cutters and chipped them on steel wire. The replacement installed easily and have been working great since. Just cannot overload them or I will be replacing them again."

"I decided to cut through a button snap with my last set and it ended up cracking one side of the cutter. I was using alot of pressure so I don't see it as a quality control issue, the new set is looking just as good as the old ones. Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase and would definitely consider purchasing more for backup"
