"Bought as a gift. Recipient is very pleased."
"Worth every penny, the knifeless Rebar is a great EDC, especially if you already carry a dedicated pocket knife and/or have to deal with laws or company policies restricting the carry of knives. I've owned mine for eight years and use it almost daily."
"I would like it if leatherman could make a Rebar 3.0 where they kept the scissors, and added a knife, and took off the serrated. You think it's a good idea, people?"
"A great Holiday gift that is just what I wanted. Quality is top of the line, thanks for the fast delivery."
"Cops are getting ridiculous with weapon checks in my area but with my Knifeless Rebar, I can keep it on me everyday and not worry about it. I have saved so many trips getting tools when cutting my grass. When my weed wacker runs out of line, the wire cutters cut the line. When I need to tighten a loose screw outside on my home, or repair storm damage I find, I rarely have to get a tool anymore, my Rebar, with the bit adapter really makes everything easy. The ratchet extension is a wrist saver. I have the Knifeless Rebar in a Charge sheath and everything is on my belt, ready for anything. I was able to fix my Aunts sagging storm door, without going back to my home for tools, since I had everything on my belt. I have a motorcycle and it's amazing that I have this tool on me, in case I need to change a dead battery on the road or tighten a body panel or adjust the carb. I haven't needed it for my bike, but it's always on me just in case and cops that seen it thinks it's cool. I sometimes do repair work at businesses and sometimes those buildings have no knife signs, so it's amazing to not have to take my multi tool off my belt, like I have in the past. I really wish it had a belt clip option but I rarely would use it but a few times I wish I could clip it to my pocket and go without a sheath. I absolutely love the phillips driver and I wish it was on more tools. The only tool I wish it had is a micro driver for glasses and electronics I deal with fairly often. I wouldn't change anything else though. It's comfortable to use and it's my favorite tool I own."
"Overall, I like the concept of this tool. I carry a knife anyway, so it made sense to skip the serrated blade in favor of the saw, knife didn't matter. I have had this for two months and find it not as robust as the Pulse I carried EDC for 14 years. The use I have gleaned from it so far has been good......except: The slots cut in the file and the saw are a poor engineering choice. Especially in the file. My Pulse has a nail nick to open the file. I had to look at it just now to even know it is there. On the Knifeless Rebar, when you use the file, the slot is omnipresent, Is grievous to have in the middle of the file. An absolute nuisance! Also, even though this file cuts well, the one on the Pulse is much better because of the diamond side. ALL Leatherman files should include the diamond side on the file................ I may upgrade this review in the future."
"I repair science lab equipment and also vending machines. Whipping out this Leatherman is very much more convenient than fetching out tools. I have some ADHD, so going to look for tools can derail me from a task completely. You know what else this thing really facilitates? Opening shipments and packaging."
"I got this for my son as his first Leatherman. I has his initials and a Bible verse citation etched on the handle, and it looked great and shipped fast. Highlights: Compact, classic design, all locking tools, replaceable cutters, and scissors The Good: It has a fantastic tool set, and I really like the substitution of scissors for a blade. This is a super compact tool, and very well executed. I think this may be the most under-rated tool in the Leatherman lineup. The No-so-good: I feel like there was some potential left on the table. First off, my example came SUPER stiff. It seems to be breaking in some lubing and after a few weeks of opening and closing, but it is still significantly more difficult to open than the Curl and Surge I recently purchased when they were fresh out of the box. Secondly, there's extra room in the handles for another tool. I'm not sure what would fit best, but there does appear to be the space. Bottom line: If you want an "all in 1" MT (no bits/exchangeable pieces), and are not concerned with onboard knife, this is (IMO) the best value on the market."
"I have a standard Rebar that has been my main multi-tool for years, But I wanted a knifeless model. I carry a pocket folder that is my primary knife, so I am not losing any functionality, and I can take this in locations that down allow knives. So for me the Rebar is perfect and tried and tested ... and the knifeless Rebar is perfect ( ... perfect-er?) and more versatile for my EDC"
"If you need a set of tools but don’t need the knife, get this with it’s compatible bit kit."
