"Retired my old juice. Bond is utilitarian and looks great. Solid and feels quality. The nylon sheath the pink one came with is also very nice. Would reccomend"
"The Bond is a perhaps a little on the large side as a pocket EDC tool, but is, unusually, UK-legal. It's quite light on the number of tools, but that is reflected on the low price (as far as Leathermans go). Personally, I would really like to have a bit holder. A saw and scissors would be nice too. As always the quality and design is unmatched by other brands' offerings, and it looks nice too. One-handed opening would be nice to have, but I realise that adds complexity, and legal issues."
"My daughter got this for her birthday. The only down side is that it’s fiddly for young fingers to get the tools out. Apart from that it’s nice to see the steady improvement since I got mine ~25 years ago"
"I would like one of your more expensive/complex tools but they are not legal to carry in the United Kingdom. Could you produce such a tool❔️"
"As the title says it's the best on the market I've had a Leatherman for six years it's something which is there when you need it, a tool for all things"
"The lack of belt/pocket clip is a real disappointment, the tool is the cheapest of the multi tools and feels it too but I didn't mind that. But come on! now I have to spend £12plus to get a clip"
"Perfect UK EDC multitool! I just pick-up my new Bond and it’s typical Leatherman quality. It reminds me of my Rebar. I was looking for a proper, yet convenient and legal to carry around multitool. The Bond hits the spot just right - goldilocks size and capabilities, the slip joint mechanism is not an issue at all, it doesn’t look wannabe ‘Ninja mall’ tacticool piece of kit that could make the coppers cringe. It easily fit in a small pocket and can get most jobs done. A saw would have been a great addition imo but really it will do 99% jobs I may need it for. For the UK non permissive legal environment it’s a great option and justifying carrying it is easy enough - allotment, day hikes, for work etc. It does look like a ‘gentleman’ multitool. I think it would make a great ‘travel’ multitool for trips abroad due to the non locking slip joint mechanism and sub 3 inches blade on it. The back of the knife strikes a ferro rod alright so as a lightweight camping/hiking tool it’s a valid carry option. 2 points to note: - It’s stiff, real stiff to operate, which is on purpose I am guessing due to the slip joint mechanism so as to not close on your hands too easily. I do expect the multitool to break-in after a while and be easier to operate. - The pocket clip is an extra add-on and that’s a bit of a shame imo. Especially for an ‘EDC’ marketed multitool."
"I love the new Bond. The knife blade feels much more positive in use, much more like a regular slipjoint, with none of the original's free play when closed. The blade shape is nicer too. My Ceracoted model feels more premium. Everything is "tighter," in a good way!"
"After losing my original leathermans (30years old) I thought would a new one be as good ? , well all I can say is yes , in fact it’s better , very happy to have such a fantastic multitool"
